  • house is sited on two sides by a heavily treed ravine forest
  • built on the pre-existing footprint, to minimize the impact of the new construction on the terrain and ecosystem
  • mechanical system was designed in four zones for independent control depending on zone usage, lower energy consumption and smaller more efficient equipment
  • geothermal cooling and heat system
  • movable screens for flexible interconnected space for family gatherings or social events
  • finely crafted ipe and zinc backlit fence runs the length of the property mitigating between the neighbouring residential property, the house and its outdoor spaces
